			Steel Making Steel making has the biggest impact on the quality and cost of the final product. POSCO refineries are equipped with the latest AOD, VOD and continuous casting facilities.
			Hot Rolling Slabs manufactured in the steel making plant are rolled into Black Coils of precise shapes and thickness. After heat treatment, pickling, and the coiling process, they are processed into White Coils for customers and supplied as cold rolling material, pipes and sheets.
			Cold Rolling POSCO is equipped with 20 high cluster mills, bright annealing line, TLL (Tension Leveling Line), AFC (Automatic Flatness Control), AGC (Automatic Gauge Control) which enable the production of cold rolled products of 0.1~3.0mm in thickness and up to 1580mm in width in various shapes and surface treatment.
			Plate Slabs produced at the steel making plant undergo rolling, heat-treatment and the pickling process, which are then cut into sizes as ordered and delivered to the customer. Plates are used by the heavy chemical industries that require corrosion resistance such as petrochemicals, power plant facilities, paper manufacturing and special shipbuilding.
			Wire rod Blooms that are produced at the steel making plant are rolled into billets and processed into black coil wire rods of various sizes. They then undergo appropriate heat treatment and pickling process and are supplied to customers.
