1. High-Rise Buildings
 |
  |
As buildings are becoming taller and bigger,
deck plates are commonly used to build floor
slabs and to shorten the floor construction time.
In particular, high-rise buildings with steel
frame are generally built in slab construction
method using deck plates. Furthermore, a
variety of deck plates are developed to accommodate
a range of different spans and floor weights,
thus becoming an essential construction material.

Reinforced Concrete Structures
 |
  |
Deck plates are increasingly used in floor slab
construction of reinforced concrete buildings.
As seen in the picture, such benefits as shortened
construction period, lower labor cost, enhanced
safety, and roomier work space can be gained by
applying deck plates on floor slabs between reinforced
concrete beams.

3. Bridges and Upper
Plate of Overpass
 |
  |
Deck plates are also used in bridges and overpasses.
With a rising number of steel bridges, deck plates
are employed more and more for their strengths,
short construction period, simple installation,
and safety. Deck plates are particularly
effective when molding strut setup is difficult
as in the construction of bridges and overpasses
and other constructions in high places.
