Lightweight steel frame system is an architectural
system that assembles standardized steel joints made with
thin hot-dip galvanized steel sheets cold-pressed into
C-shaped structural members. Since the joints are
produced by automated system in plants, thoroughly following
the structural designs, the only on-site job required
is bolt assembly. In addition, the entire structure
is in the portal frame style, which allows the structure
to reach 10 meters in height and 20 meters in length without
any intermediate supporting columns. Capitalizing
on these features, the lightweight steel frame system
is widely utilized not only in general industrial facilities
like warehouses and factories but also in agro-fisheries
facilities, such as agricultural machinery storage facilities,
mushroom farms, pig sties, henhouses, and fish farms.
It is also an economical architectural system used in
various building types like temporary on-site construction
offices and rooftop structures. |
