1. Overview

Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) was developed 100 years ago in the US.  Since then CSP, due to its  durability,  structural stability,  and economic value, has been a popular construction material.  CSP is lightweight, easy to use, easy to fabricate and very economical. Its wide range of applications include distribution pipes, agricultural water conduits, storm sewers, and many other drainage systems.

2. Key Features

Strength

The "waves" of CSP endows a superb ductility unfound in other pipes.  The unrivalled combination of steel engineered strength inherent in the corrugation process and uniform load distribution makes CSP much stronger than similarly installed rigid pipes.  Therefore it is possible to make it 1/20~1/40 times thinner than rigid pipes of the same diameter, thus the gross weight is 1/5~1/10 times lighter.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

CSP is lighter and more flexible than rigid pipes, making it much easier and faster to install.  Groundwork for installing CPS is simple, so non-experts can install it easily.

Economic Value

Corrugated steel pipe is definitely the material of choice for faster, more convenient and more economical installation.  Using CSP saves on construction time because it is easier to fabricate and assemble.  Its weight per unit is lighter, reducing transportation load.  Groundwork, installation, and transportation are all simple which translates into cost-reduction for overall construction work.  Compared to
