1. Overview

Pallets are designed to make transportation, shipping, unloading, and cargo storage easy.  Generally, pallets are divided into steel, wood, plastic and  paper pallet by material while they can also be classified into flat, box-type, and roll pallet by shape.    Wood pallets are most commonly used while plastic or steel pallets are used for special purposes.  However, with an emergence of such problems as high lumber price, severe environmental destruction and low recycling rate, the demand for steel pallets is on the rise.

 Possibility of making structure lightweight to consume less materials

2. Main Advantages of Steel Pallet

Stable steel price means stable steel pallet price.  Also, the balanced supply and demand of steel is likely to continue for many years to come.    Steel is recyclable and helps to reduce environmental pollution even after disposal. High strength of steel allows us to manufacture light and reasonably priced pallets. Steel pallets can be produced in a variety of sizes and shapes according to their usage and features.   From the perspective of pallet manufacturers, steel makes it easy to standardize and pre-fabricate pallets, thus bringing such benefits as mass production and reduced manufacturing time.    The contamination of products by humidity, odor and microorganisms can be prevented if pallets are made of steel. The better appearance of steel pallet improves the packaging quality of products when storing, shipping and transporting them.
