| Shock
resistance for bumpers and reinforcement
parts of automobiles is of the utmost
importance. To effectively reduce shock,
steel products with high strength must
be applied but the drawback is the possible
reduction in workability. As such, POSCO
has developed 80kg class TRIP Steel
products to optimize strength without
sacrificing workability. The properties
of this advanced product undergo transformation
during the deformation process. Initially,
it is low-strength with super workability,
but the strength increases as this product
transforms into martensite, a metal
with high strength properties. |
