1. Product Characteristics

This steel type is a high-alloy STS steel of 25Cr-20Ni type that has excellent oxidization resistance and superior strength in high temperatures. It is widely used as heat resistant parts in heat furnaces, recuperators, and incinerators.

3. Quality Characteristics

Manufacturing characteristics: As a high-alloy steel, it is highly resistant against hot strain and has inferior pickling capability.
Quality characteristics: To test the oxidization resistance in high temperatures, the steel passes oxidization test at the constant temperature of 1000°C for 2000 hours. Almost no change in thickness was recorded and it was proven to br three times superior in quality than the 304 steel.
