1. Product Characteristics

Steel for boilers and pressure vessels is used in containers for crude oil and liquid gas as well as in boilers and recuperators. The steel is classified into room temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature steels according to the steel usage temperature. A302-C steel is used in room temperature/low temperature pressure vessels. Furthermore, compared to general steel, it is noted for its corrosion resistance in hot and humid conditions, and the maintenance of high tensile strength in high temperatures as well as the impact toughness in low temperatures.
* Temperature classification: Room temperatures (appr. 300°C or lower), medium to high temperatures (appr. 400 - 600°C), low temperatures (-20°C or lower)
