1. Product Characteristics

This wire rod is used for gear shaft that connects the handle axis of steering system to the wheels, an essential safety part that requires superior abrasion resistance and toughness. The QT process can be skipped during manufacturing, preventing thermal strain and cutting the parts processing cost.

3. Quality Characteristics

To ensure abrasion resistance, the hardness of gear parts is thoroughly tested.

To secure bar straightness after processing, the parts material differential was minimized.

Material characteristic: Strength (tensile strength of 95 kg/mm² or higher) and abrasion resistance are obtained after processing with additions of Mn, V, and Ni.
